ABOUT REBBETZIN SELEVAN'S BOOK
While compiling the sources for Bite Size Torah For Your Shabbat Table on Bereshit, it was Rebbetzin Selevan’s goal to transmit the insightful Torah thoughts of Rabbi Rosner’s weekly lectures into short, palatable, practical and meaningful ideas that would be relevant to anyone at any age or stage. Rabbi Rosner’s Torah classes have been a therapeutic highlight of each of her days for almost a decade, and she really wanted to share his insights, along with her own adaptations, for others to enjoy.
Rebecca Shapiro and her son Moshe Tzvi spent many long hours pouring over Leslie’s incredibly detailed and intricate lecture notes, trying to write, re-write, and abridge, so that each smaller idea would remain just as powerful as the longer versions. Great efforts were made to make sure each dvar Torah was short, sweet, and had a relevant take-home message that readers could easily digest. It is their hope that this book will inspire each reader as much as it has inspired the writers.
This book was a labor of love that has transformed and motivated each of them to grow in their relationship with Hashem and become better versions of themselves. It is their hope that readers will be impacted in a similar way.
