Hello hello! I’m Zahava Fertig and I am delighted to join the Project Proactive team this summer as an intern through Yeshiva University’s Summer Consulting Force!

I’m currently a rising senior at Stern College for Women, studying Political Science. I’m from Woodmere, NY and prior to Stern, I went to Midreshet Shalhevet High School and MMY for seminary.

(While) On campus, I’m an ambassador for Campus Shabbat Programming, a model U.N. chair and a volunteer science instructor for public school students. Additionally, I am an NCSY advisor and a Shevet Glaubach Fellow for NCSY’s Southern Region. I’ve spent the last three summers as a counselor at Camp Moshava IO.

These past few months I’ve become an avid reader and puzzler. My sister and I are currently finishing up our eighth puzzle.

I’m incredibly excited to (virtually) meet and work with the rest of the Project Proactive team and the members of the Student Leadership Program. Looking forward to a meaningful, engaging and productive summer with Project Proactive!
